The track entering Port Shepherd passes Green Bag Cement Company (a
customer) and Foxall Foundry and Forge. The right-hand track is the
north switching lead for Port Shepherd.
The Shepherd Branch track enters Port Shepherd with the Green Bag
Cement spur on the right. The two tracks in the lower right go
to the pier.
The three track yard is hardly visible between Potomac Marine and
Perfect Parts.
This photo brings you a better idea of the size of Perfect Parts.
It's a kit-bash of Korber and Pecos John building parts.
Another view of Perfect Parts and a bit of National Plumbing in the
foreground.
The truck side of National Plumbing; there is a two car siding on
the other side.
The end of the line is marked by Saur's
Grocery and the Blue Bayou Bar & Grill. There is a switching
lead that extends into the room that holds Benning (where we
started). A. H. Saur was my wife's grandfather. Blue Bayou
is one of my favorite songs.
